Watch out for the Liberal Rumor!!!

Recently the Liberals are starting a new Rumor about Rush Limbaugh. According to the new rumor, Rush Limbaugh called soldiers who did agree with him "Phony Soldiers". The Truth is he was calling an individual who was pretending to be a soldier one. This is What He said “The morning update on Wednesday dealt with a soldier, a fake, phony soldier by the name of Jesse MacBeth who never served in Iraq; he was never an Army Ranger. He was drummed out of the military in 44 days. He had his day in court; he never got the Purple Heart as he claimed, and he described all these war atrocities. He became a hero to the anti-war left. They love phony soldiers, and they prop 'em up. When it is demonstrated that they have been lying about things, then they just forget about it. There's no retraction; there's no apology; there's no, "Uh-oh, sorry." After doing that morning update on Wednesday, I got a phone call yesterday from somebody, we were talking about the troops, and this gentleman said something which you'll hear here in just a second, prompting me to reply "yeah, the phony soldiers." The Anatomy of a Smear: "Phony Soldiers" Is a Phony Story

  1. hi damien. i use to comment on the freesoiler blog. he was a nice kid although clearly sucked in by having audited an econ 101 course at some minor college. in any case, i wanted to set the record straight about rush. he wasn't referencing any particurlar soilder. he was talking about all soilders who spoke out in opposition to what we are doing in iraq. sorry pal. you're hearing the edited tapes and reading the edited transcripts. there is no doubt about this smear of our soilders by rush. enough people heard it in real time not to be sucked in by the revisionist history republicans, as a rule, are so adroit at foisting on us. good luck to you. i hope when you wake up some day and realize you've been sucked into one of the most devious propaganda machines since the first faux priest talked a bunch of guys to dig irrigation ditches on the tigris river to grow crops so they could buy their way into heaven through the priests good graces. you look young in your photo. i wonder, do you know the truth about the rush smear? i hope not. at your young age, purposly spreading their propaganda would be pure evil. if on the other hand, you believe the revisionist republican lies about the comment. well another great propagandist once said: The bigger the lie, the more people will believe it to be the truth. if thats the case, then you are just a young guy who has been duped. regardless, it's nice to see young people taking an interest. you write well also. thats the good news. the bad news is your using your hard won talent to spread bilge. catch you later

  2. Chika Rex,
the purpose of my blog is inform and discuss national and global politial issues. As you see, I have link to my sources within my article.
As to the Rush article, the first time I heard about this was from MSNBC cable. Now that channel has often misquoted and taken things out of contexts when it comes to the Foxnews channel and conservative talk show host. Base on what I heard on MSNBC, it sounded like (to me)Rush was calling someone who was pretending to be a soldier phony soldier.
